RV Water Heaters
Your RV heats water one of two ways: a 4- or 6-gallon tank that fires on propane, 120-volt electric, or both, or a tankless unit that heats on demand. Whichever you run, the parts that keep it working live here — replacement tanks, the anode rod that protects a steel tank, heating elements and thermostats, thermocouples and ignitor boards, and the bypass kits you'll reach for at winterizing time. Start with your heater's brand and tank size, then work down to the piece you need.

Finding the right water heater part
An RV water heater runs fine until it doesn't, and the fix almost always lands in one of three areas: the tank, the sacrificial anode that protects it, or the gas and electric controls that fire it. This section is organized the same way.
- Water Heaters — complete 6-gallon tank units from Suburban and Dometic, plus the bypass kits, access doors, and bug screens that go with a tank.
- Anode Rods — sacrificial magnesium rods that corrode in place of a steel tank, sized to fit Suburban and Atwood-style heaters.
- Elements & Thermostats — the working guts: heating elements, thermostats, thermocouples, T&P relief valves, and universal ignitor boards.
Symptoms point you to the right shelf. A cold tank on gas usually traces to the ignitor board or thermocouple; a cold tank on electric to the element or thermostat; rusty or smelly water to the anode rod. Match every part to your heater's brand and gallon size before you buy.
