RV Fresh Water Systems
Getting clean water from the campground spigot to your tap takes more than a hose. This is the whole fresh-water side of the rig: the drinking-safe hose, the regulator that keeps pedestal pressure from splitting a fitting, filters for taste and sediment, the fill and shutoff hardware, and the 12-volt pump that pressurizes everything when you're off city water. Fix one part at a time, or build the setup from scratch.

How the RV fresh water system fits together
Two things pressurize the water in an RV: a campground spigot pushing it in from outside, or your own 12-volt pump pulling from the fresh tank when you're boondocking. Both feed the same lines to your faucets, and the parts below keep that water clean, at a safe pressure, and moving. Start with whatever you're replacing.
- Drinking Water Hoses — white and blue potable-rated hoses in coiled and straight lengths, plus the lead-free materials that keep water tasting like water.
- Hose Fittings & Adapters — city water inlets, gravity fills, Y-splitters, shutoffs, and quick-connect barbs to join it all together.
- Pressure Regulators — brass and stainless regulators that cap incoming pressure at a safe 40-60 PSI so a hot pedestal doesn't split a line.
- Water Filters — inline and canister filters with carbon and KDF media to cut chlorine, sediment, and off-tastes.
- Water Pumps — 12-volt demand pumps plus the switches, valves, and silencing kits that keep them running quiet.
This is the supply side only. The drains and holding tanks live under Sewer & Waste, tank treatments under Tank Care & Chemicals, and the fixtures themselves under Faucets, Sinks & Showers.
