An onboard thermostat only energizes the cable when it's actually needed, so it isn't running up your electric bill overnight.

The hose itself is made from NSF-61 certified drinking-water-safe material, and a durable outer jacket shields both the hose and the internal heating element from bumps and abrasion. A male-to-male adapter is included so you can connect from whichever end lines up with your power outlet.
