The hose itself is NSF-61 certified for drinking water safety, and a built-in energy-saving thermostat only activates the heat as needed rather than running constantly, which helps keep your electric bill in check. A durable exterior jacket shields both the water line and the electrical components inside, and a male-to-male adapter is included so you can connect the electrical end wherever it's convenient. It runs on a standard 120VAC outlet.
