The Xantrex Xpower 450 converts 12-volt DC battery power into 120-volt AC for portable use, handling AC loads rated up to 450 watts continuous (700 watts peak). It's a modified sine wave inverter, so it's well suited to basic electronics and tools rather than sensitive equipment that requires pure sine power.
Two GFCI-protected outlets let you run more than one device at a time, and the high-efficiency design converts most of the battery's available power to usable AC. Included mounting brackets make it easy to install in a fixed spot, and built-in overload and over-temperature shutoff protect the unit and connected loads.
