For smaller power needs, the Xantrex XM 1000 delivers 1000 watts continuous output (1000W peak) to run TVs, small appliances, and other electronics from a 12V DC battery source. It's a single-outlet unit designed to be hard-wired in, whether through a terminal strip or by connecting AC through the included GFCI receptacle.
A built-in 15A circuit breaker protects the AC pass-through, and the digital display detaches so you can mount the remote wherever it's easiest to check power output, AC source, and battery voltage without going back to the inverter itself.
Size your battery bank and wiring to the 1000W continuous rating, and keep the included GFCI receptacle handy for AC hookup.
