This Torklift International front tie-down is part of Torklift's TRUE frame-mounted camper tie-down system, which bolts directly to independent points on the truck frame instead of relying on a bumper or crossbar. That keeps the mounting hardware close to the frame rail so it doesn't eat into ground clearance, and it's designed to fit tight against the frame on Ford trucks and trailers rather than a generic bolt-on bracket.
Because the tie-down is frame-mounted rather than a universal clamp-on design, it's built to match the specific truck it's designed for rather than a one-size-fits-all bracket. The receiver-style insert can be pulled when you're not hauling a camper, so the tie-down point stays out of sight and out of the way.
