The SAM-250-12 converts 12V DC battery power into 115V AC for running basic electronics and small appliances off a battery bank. It's a modified sine wave design, which covers most everyday loads, and it includes a USB port for charging devices without tying up the AC outlet.
As with any modified sine inverter, check that sensitive electronics (some chargers, medical equipment, certain motors) are rated for modified sine power before relying on it for those loads.
