PullRite's Quick Connect Capture Plate is designed to bolt onto popular king pin box models, letting you hook up to a compatible 5th-wheel hitch in a fraction of the time a standard setup takes. It slips over the king pin and is held in place with a set screw and nylon spacer, so it stays put on the king pin box between trips.
Once you're hitched up, the plate's tapered wedge isolates the king pin so it can't rotate loose inside the fifth wheel plate. That keeps the connection tight and lets any turning-assist mechanism on your hitch do its job smoothly instead of fighting play in the pin.
Check your king pin box manufacturer's fitment guide before ordering, since Quick Connect capture plates are matched to specific box shapes and are not a universal fit.
