The Demco Autoslide 18K is built for short-bed trucks that need extra clearance during sharp turns. Its rack-and-pinion slide mechanism provides up to 14 inches of travel, and unlike some sliding hitches, it doesn't require a separate locking plate on the pin box to activate.
A wraparound jaw with a locking bar keeps the trailer connection secure and reduces the clunk and play you can get from lower-quality jaw designs. Three vertical height adjustments let you level the truck and trailer properly, and the lower-profile, lighter design makes the hitch itself easier to lift in and out of the bed.
This kit includes standard bed rails, so check your truck's existing rail setup before ordering to confirm fitment.
