Propane leaks aren't always obvious by smell alone, especially with the range hood fan running or the windows open. MTI Industries' 12V alarm is hard-wired into your coach's 12-volt system and sounds off if it detects LP gas in the area where it's mounted.
It's a direct-wired unit rather than battery-powered, so it draws off the RV's existing 12V circuit and doesn't need batteries swapped or checked. The black housing surface-mounts near propane appliances like the stove, furnace, or water heater.
Mount it low, since propane is heavier than air and settles near the floor, and follow the included instructions for wiring into your 12V system.
