Stock trailer shackles are a common wear point, and worn or elongated shackle brackets lead to sloppy suspension and uneven tire wear. MORryde's heavy duty shackle upgrade kit (UO12-021) replaces thin factory shackles with thicker 1/2" links for tandem-axle trailers running stock or EquaFlex suspensions with 3-1/8" shackles.
The kit adds bronze bushings and greasable "wet" bolts at each pivot point, so you can periodically lubricate the joints instead of running them dry until they wear out.
Worth installing if you're chasing down a sloppy, clunky suspension or just want to upgrade wear-prone factory shackles before they fail on the road.
