This shank slides into a standard 2" receiver and connects to an e2 trunnion hitch head, giving you the correct drop and rise to level your tow vehicle and trailer combination. It's made specifically to fit e2's built-in sway control hitches, not generic ball mounts.
Match the drop/rise to your tow vehicle and trailer combination; e2 also offers a round-bar version of this shank at a different drop and rise.
