Following the power from source to fixture
Power in a rig moves in a line: it enters from a source (shore, generator, or solar), fills storage (your batteries), converts between 12-volt and 120-volt as needed, then runs everything from the reading lights to the fridge. These five categories track that path.
- Batteries & Charging: house and starting batteries, chargers and maintainers, plus battery boxes and disconnects.
- Converters & Inverters: power converters, pure sine inverters, inverter/chargers, and transfer switches.
- Power Cords & Electrical: shore cords and adapters, surge protectors, fuses and breakers, outlets, and wiring.
