CURT Grade 70 Safety Chain | 5/16 in. x 32 in., 18,800 lb. Break Strength

Safety chains are required by law in most states, and this CURT chain gives you a heavy-duty backup connection between trailer and tow vehicle in case the coupler ever comes loose. It's built from 5/16-inch diameter, grade-70 certified steel links with a zinc-plated finish to resist rust.

A pre-attached clevis hook with a spring-loaded safety latch makes for a secure connection to your hitch's safety chain loops, and at 32 inches long, it gives you room to cross the chains under the coupler as recommended.
