CURT 5/16" x 32" Grade 43 Safety Chain | 11,700 lb Break Force, Clevis Hook

Safety chains are required by law any time you tow, and they're your backup if the coupler ever fails. This CURT chain is grade-43 rated with an 11,700 lb minimum break force, built from 5/16" diameter steel links and protected with a clear zinc coating to resist rust.

It comes with a pre-attached clevis hook that has a spring-loaded safety latch, so it's ready to connect straight to your trailer's safety chain loop. Remember that towing setups need two chains, each rated to meet or exceed your trailer's gross weight, and they should be crossed underneath the coupler before hooking to the tow vehicle.
