This heavy-duty rear spring assembly is the direct replacement for wider Carefree Fiesta, Spirit FX, and Simplicity awnings — 18'1" up to 25' wide (center of arm to center of arm), 1997 to present. Like the standard-duty version, it ships with no tension so it's safer to handle before installation.

Because the roller spring stores serious tension once wound into the arm, removal and installation are best left to an experienced installer — the spring can unwind rapidly and without warning once it's disconnected.
