Every tank-style water heater needs a working temperature and pressure relief valve, and this Camco valve is a direct way to replace one that's failed or seized. It uses a 3/4" NPT connection with a 4" extension probe, and it's factory set to open at 150 PSI or 210°F to protect the tank from dangerous overpressure or overheating.
The valve body is all brass with a stainless steel pressure spring, and the probe is epoxy-coated to resist corrosion over years of service.
A key safety component — if your existing T&P valve is leaking, stuck, or original to an older water heater, this is a straightforward like-for-like replacement.
