Skylights let light in, but they also let heat in and out fast. This Camco insulator installs over the inside of a standard 14" x 22" RV skylight and adds a triple-layer barrier - a foam core wrapped in a reflective, sewn cover - to cut down on solar heat gain in summer and heat loss in cold weather.
Because it reduces the heat your A/C or furnace has to fight, it helps both systems run more efficiently. The domed shape gives it enough depth to clear a raised skylight lens, and it mounts with adjustable straps rather than adhesive, so there's nothing to leave behind on your ceiling.
A simple add-on for anyone who wants a more comfortable cabin and less strain on the RV's climate control.
