This pigtail hose links a standard 20 or 30 lb propane cylinder to a camper's 1/4-inch inverted flare regulator, with enough length and flexibility to make the connection without fighting the tank position. It's rated for up to 200,000 BTU/hr, enough for RV furnaces, water heaters, and outdoor cooking.
The hose also works with a 4-port brass tee for setups running an auxiliary propane source. An ACME nut on one end and a 1/4-inch inverted male flare on the other make for a quick, secure connection at both the tank and the regulator.
Inspect the hose and fittings for wear each season and replace if you see cracking or damage near the connections.
