Vehicles with animated or progressive taillights need a battery disconnect during flat towing, and this Blue Ox kit provides the wiring to make that connection safely. It's coach-powered, drawing signal from the motorhome rather than the towed vehicle's battery.
The kit includes a 26-foot, 6-wire harness with 6 diodes to isolate circuits and prevent backfeeding between the coach and the towed vehicle's lighting system.
Check your towed vehicle's wiring diagram to confirm it uses a progressive/animated taillight system before ordering.
