Not every campsite or driveway has a 30-amp pedestal handy. This AP Products adapter converts a standard 15-amp household-style plug into a 30-amp locking receptacle, so your RV's shore power cord can connect to ordinary 15-amp power when that's all that's available.
The 30-amp end is a locking connection to help keep the cord seated, and the E-Zee grip handle makes it easier to plug and unplug with cold or wet hands.
Remember that a 15-amp source can't deliver true 30-amp capacity - this adapter lets you connect, but you'll still be limited to what the 15-amp circuit can supply.
