A large 5" x 9" footpad spreads the load out so the jack doesn't sink into gravel or soft dirt, and the black powder coat finish holds up against rust from road grime and weather. It bolts or welds directly to the trailer frame - hardware for bolting is not included, so plan accordingly if you're not welding it on.
