The Brakeman IV is Tekonsha's entry-level time-based controller: hit your tow vehicle's brakes and it sends an output signal to the trailer that increases at a fixed rate over a set period, rather than tracking how hard you're actually braking. That makes it a straightforward, budget-friendly option for lighter towing setups.
A vehicle-specific Plug & Play wiring harness is required and sold separately.
