Getting in and out of an overhead bunk is a lot easier with a proper ladder. This Stromberg Carlson bunk ladder stands 60 inches, weighs only about 7 lbs, and uses rust-free aluminum tubes with injection-molded treads that are easy on bare feet.

Rubber feet keep it from slipping, and the included hooks and hardware secure it in place. It can be trimmed with a hacksaw for a shorter bunk.
