Two measurements decide the fit
Screen rooms aren't one-size-fits-all. They're built to match a specific awning length and the drop from your rail to the ground. Nail those two numbers and the room tensions into place; miss them and you fight an enclosure that never seals. Sort out the following before you order.
- Awning length. Carefree's Vacation'r rooms are cut for set spans, such as 10-11 ft, 20-21 ft, and points between. Measure your awning's fabric length and match the room to it; one built for a longer awning won't tension on a short one.
- Rail-to-ground height. The side panels have to reach the ground, so measure from the awning rail straight down. Some rooms list a range like 86"-150"; confirm yours falls inside it.
- No-drill vs. mounted. No-drill Vacation'r versions attach without putting holes in the coach, which matters if you'd rather not modify the rig. Confirm your awning type is compatible before buying.
