The SaltDogg TGS06 bolts to the tailgate of a 3/4-ton or 1-ton pickup and turns it into a dedicated de-icing rig. The 10 cubic foot poly hopper holds up to 750 lbs of bagged #1 rock salt and shrugs off the corrosion that eventually eats steel hoppers, so it's built to handle years of winter duty.

Gravity feeds material down to a 9-inch poly spinner that throws salt up to 30 feet, and the adjustable flowgate lets you control how much material comes down at once. Because the drive is 12V DC rather than a hydraulic or gas-powered setup, it runs quietly and needs very little upkeep between storms.
