Replacement Bulbs
When a fixture still works but the bulb's gone dark — or you want LED brightness out of an old incandescent housing — this is the aisle. It covers 1141/1156 bayonet bulbs, 921 wedge bulbs, G4 pin bulbs, the Camco 12V fluorescent tube, and the snap-in replacement lenses for Peterson trailer lights for when the plastic finally cracks or clouds over.

Matching a replacement bulb or lens
The whole game here is matching the base. A bulb with the right output but the wrong base won't seat, and forcing it is how you break a socket. Pull the old bulb, read the base, and buy to match — most RV bulbs are stamped with their type.
- Bayonet bulbs (1141/1156). The single-contact bayonet base is the most common one in RV dome and reading fixtures. The Diamond Group LED spot bulbs here use the 1141/1156 base and drop straight into those sockets, dimmable, as a two-pack.
- Wedge and pin bulbs (921, G4). The 921 is a glass wedge base found in a lot of overhead and marker fixtures; the G4 is a two-pin base used in reading and accent lights. The MG Innovative G4/921 LED bulb covers those with wide-voltage tolerance so it runs cool and steady.
- Wide voltage and polarity. An RV's 12-volt line actually swings from about 11 to 14 volts depending on charging. A wide-voltage LED handles that without flickering. Some LED bulbs are polarity-sensitive too — if a new bulb won't light, pull it and turn it 180 degrees before assuming it's dead.
- Replacement lenses. When the bulb's fine but the plastic is cracked or fogged, a snap-in lens like the Peterson units here restores output and keeps water out. Match the color — clear, red, or smoke — and the exact size, because a near-fit won't seal.
Retrofitting a whole coach this way is cheaper than new fixtures — see Interior LED Lights if a housing is too far gone to save. For exterior lamps and the lenses that go with them, Porch & Exterior Lights is the companion category.
