This is the OEM heating element for Norcold refrigerators, the component that drives the absorption cooling cycle. If your Norcold fridge has stopped cooling and the element has failed or corroded, part 638374 is the factory replacement.
It's built from stainless steel and mounts to the same surface location as the original, so it drops into place without modifying the cooling unit.
