Ecopoly PEX Crimp Coupling | 1/2" Barb x 1/2" Barb, PSU Plastic

This Ecopoly coupling lets you join two runs of 1/2 inch PEX tubing with a standard copper crimp ring or stainless steel PEX clamp. It's built from polysulfone (PSU) plastic rated for potable water use, so it holds up well in RV fresh water systems where corrosion-prone metal fittings can be a hassle.

• Straight barb-to-barb coupling for joining 1/2" PEX tubing
• Molded from PSU plastic that meets lead-free NSF/ANSI 14 Annex G requirements
• Works with any brand of SDR-9 PEX tubing
• Compatible with copper crimp rings and stainless steel PEX clamps
• Meets ASTM F877, ASTM F2159, and CSA B137.5 specifications

To install, square-cut the tubing, slide a ring or clamp over each end, push the barbed coupling in fully, then crimp the ring about 1/8" from the fitting body.
