This Camco magnesium anode rod is built for Atwood-style aluminum RV water heaters. It works sacrificially, drawing corrosive elements out of the water so they attack the rod instead of your tank, which helps extend the life of the water heater.
A built-in drain valve means you can drain the tank whenever you need to without pulling a separate drain plug or reaching for extra tools.
