This front-position B6 shock uses the same monotube, gas-pressure design as Bilstein's rear units, with a digressive piston that adjusts damping to what the road surface is actually doing. It's built to hold up better than a standard shock on the front end of a loaded motorhome, especially over repeated long trips.
