The Battery Tender 800 shares the same fully automatic charging logic as the popular Battery Tender Junior in a smaller, 800mA package. Its onboard microchip constantly monitors, charges, and then maintains a 12V battery without risk of overcharging.

The internal electronics are fully encapsulated in a thermally conductive, flame-retardant epoxy resin, so the charger is protected from shock, vibration, and moisture, making it a good fit for ATVs, boats, and other equipment exposed to the weather.
